SIFT attend Clyde 2020 Summit

Date: 23/04/2014

On 23 April, SIFT attended the Clyde 2020 Summit along with 100 Clyde stakeholders in Glasgow.

The aim of the event was to discuss what measures should be taken to bring the Firth of Clyde up to good environmental standing by 2020.

The event intended to bring together representatives from the fishing industry, environmental groups, the tourism industry and leisure organisations to explore different options, including improved fisheries management to re-establish a healthy marine ecosystem in the Clyde.

A written report of discussions at the Summit should be released by the end of May.
