SIFT commissioned report on Static Gear Reserves

Date: 05/10/2012

SIFT releases an independent commissioned report by the Scottish Oceans Institute on Static Gear Reserves in relation to SIFT's proposals in the Firth of Clyde. The report concludes that static gear reserves resulted in recovery of some fish stocks, or increases in habitat complexity and biodiversity and that closed areas are a useful tool in conservation efforts.
